Freshpaint art & design fair, Tel Aviv, is the largest and most influential annual art event in Israel, attracting over 30,000 visitors every year. 

Maiyan Ben Yona has participated for the first time in the design pavilion and presented an innovating series of porcelain objects.

About the project "Gossamers" - 

"In this series of pieces, I test the boundaries of the material - how much can it be stretched,  how much can I reduce it, while still preserving the "bowl" form.  The objects in this series are made from porcelain. I use techniques of piping and pinching the material into classical ceramic bowl form molds, that I re-invent."
