Ikebana - Private Japanese Flower Arranging Art Workshop
The art of flower arranging is about creating space for the flowers, the branches, the leaves, the vase, and the interaction between them all in the space of the environment.
In the workshop, you will learn the principles of Japanese aesthetics and culture, and under the guidance of Master Ikebana Fiammetta Martegani. be guided to create your own flower arrangement, for you to take home at the end of the workshop.
Fiammetta Martegani has an Italian doctorate in Anthropology and Art, lives and works in Israel. As an anthropologist and enthusiast of various cultures, she has been drawn to the unique Japanese art of Ikebana, which she has been studying since 2006. Today, she is part of the Sogetsu school in Tokyo and Rome.
The workshop will take place in our studio surrounded by a colorful blooming courtyard, enabling you to cut off from the noise of the city and provide space for contemplation and creation. Just like a Zen garden, where meditation can be practiced through the encounter with flowers, you will be able to connect up to yourself and create your individual and unique flower arrangement.
